Coach Teddy progressed early into his footballing years at the Moroka Swallows PSL Academy in South Africa. While working his way through the ranks, he competed in International tournaments such as the Manchester United Premier Cup in Hong Kong, against the household names of Footballs Elite (Manchester United, PSG, Fluminense, BVB and Inter Milan to name but a few). Shortly after, he received his first call-up to preseason camp with the First Team at 17. In wanting to follow his older brothers to the US, Teddy was able to secure a D1 Scholarship at the University of North Florida, where he completed his 4 years of NCAA eligibility. The Osprey’s enjoyed their first A-Sun Conference Tournament Championship appearance & Regular Season Championship trophy during his tenure in Jacksonville, Florida. The broad range of experiences Teddy has gathered throughout his years playing & being involved in football have equipped him with a firm grasp and genuine appreciation of the tools required to compete at an elite level. He sums it up by saying “Football is not merely played with the feet, it’s as much a mental game as it is technical. The sooner we can help our players embrace and hone in on both variables as one, the quicker they’ll see growth and trackable results.”
